Our commitment to cleanliness has always been a top priority and we have been working diligently on implementing new procedures to protect our members, guests, and associates. Thank you for your loyalty and support of this amazing ClubSport community.

Cleaning & Disinfecting

Preparation for Re-Opening
  • • Thorough cleaning and disinfecting of all areas, touchpoints, and equipment throughout the entire facility. 
  • • A deep clean throughout the facility using a professional BioSafe Biological Cold Fogging system has been completed prior to re-opening. BioSafe Fogging is a unique disinfectant process that is EPA certified, non-toxic, non-corrosive, 100% biodegradable, and is environmentally safe. We’ve also purchased a BioSafe Fogging system to have on the property for ongoing deep disinfectant treatments. 
  • • Replaced all HVAC filters.
  • • All associates have been trained on cleaning and disinfecting protocols with EPA-registered and virus killing disinfectants.
Daily Cleaning Protocols

  • • Dedicated Clean Team members will be located throughout the club to ensure the highest level of ongoing cleaning practices.
  • • Cleaning of high touch areas, fitness equipment, and locker rooms will be scheduled during all hours of operation.
  • • Use of EPA-registered and virus killing disinfectants.
  • • Group Fitness studios and equipment will be cleaned between each class. Classes have been spaced 30 minutes apart to allow for ample cleaning time.
  • • High touch surfaces will be cleaned often throughout all operating hours, including but not limited to:
    • • Door handles
    • • Stair railing
    • • Faucets
    • • Restroom partition hardware
    • • Garbage receptacles
    • • Locker doors
    • • Counters
  • • Disinfectant wipe stations and hand sanitizer stations are located throughout the facility for easy access.
  • • Signage has been placed throughout the facility reminding exercisers to clean the equipment before and after each use.
  • • In addition to rigorous ongoing daily cleaning, we employ a professional cleaning company to conduct deep cleaning and disinfecting of the facility each night.
  • • Club hours have been adjusted to allow for ample cleaning overnight.

  • • Protexus Electrostatic Cleaning
    • · An electrostatic spray disinfectant with a positive charge to attach to all types of surfaces for a more complete clean.
    • · Positive particles from the disinfectant will wrap around 360 degrees and cling to any surface to maximize sanitization. 

Physical Distancing

Physical Distancing Guidelines
  • • Directional and spacing signage located throughout the facility to support physical distancing practices.
  • • One-way flow prioritized and indicated wherever possible.
  • • Physical distance markers throughout the facility where lines form.
  • • Group fitness floor markers to provide ample space.
  • • Capacity limits posted and enforced throughout all areas of the facility.
  • • Group fitness class registration required via the member self-service portal.
  • • Lap and recreational swimming reservations required via the member self-service portal.
  • • Equipment and furnishings spaced at least six feet apart.
  • • Every other shower will available to maximize spacing.
  • • Upper lockers will be available and open to allow for ample space.
  • • Due to physical distancing and capacity requirements, members are only allowed in the club while exercising or using the locker rooms. Members will not be permitted to remain in the club to socialize during phase one of re-opening.
  • • Based on governmental guidelines, signs will indicate any restrictions on spas, steam rooms, and saunas throughout a phased opening.

Health & Hygiene

Health & Hygiene Guidelines
  • • Per updated California guidelines issued July 1, 2020, members are required to wear face coverings at all times. The only exceptions are while exercising outdoors when maintaining at least 6 feet distance from others, for children under 2 years old, while showering or swimming, while actively consuming food or beverage, or anyone who falls in the category as determined exempt by the state. Masks should not be worn while swimming.
  • • All associates have been trained on specific COVID-19 protocols, social distancing, cleaning, and specific department procedures before reopening.
  • • Daily screening and temperature checks for all associates each day before entering the building for their scheduled shift.
  • • Associates experiencing any symptoms or elevated temperature will be sent home in accordance with the CDC guidelines.
  • • All associates are required to wear face masks and gloves when appropriate.
  • • Associates and members must wash or sanitize their hands upon entry to the facility.
  • • Associates are asked to wash and sanitize hands frequently.
  • • Associates will wear protective face masks while on duty with the exception of duties that require intense exertion.
  • • Associates will wear gloves as needed in the course of their duties and in accordance with state and local guidelines.
  • • Signage has been placed throughout the facility reminding people to stay home if sick or not feeling well.
  • • Towel service will be offered through the club desk, however, state guidelines highly recommend members to bring their own towels.

Club Spaces

Arrival Experience
  • • Per updated California guidelines issued July 1, 2020, members are required to wear face coverings at all times. The only exceptions are while exercising outdoors when maintaining at least 6 feet distance from others, for children under 2 years old, while showering or swimming, while actively consuming food or beverage, or anyone who falls in the category as determined exempt by the state. Masks should not be worn while swimming.
  • • Valet parking may not be available as advised by the CDC. Our Executive and Resort members will access priority parking with a special parking pass when valet is unavailable.
  • • Doors will be marked for entry and exit ways to support one-way flow.
  • • Signage and floor markings to support social distancing in entry and exit ways and where lines can potentially form.
  • • To support touchless check-in and expedite club access we ask that all members present their membership card via the ClubSport App. You can download the ClubSport App from the Apple or Google Play store and click here for written instructions on setting up the app.
  • • Private access available only through a ClubSport membership, corporate partnership, hotel reservation, or membership appointment. No guest visits will be allowed at this time.
  • • Associates are required to wear face masks to follow state and local guidelines and plexiglass partitions will be used in high contact areas.
  • • Towels are located at the front desk only.
Fitness
  • • A dedicated Clean Team will be monitoring all areas of the fitness floor for ongoing rigorous cleaning, including cardio equipment, free weights, machines, and all high touch surfaces and areas.
  • • Sanitation and disinfecting stations are conveniently located throughout the facility for easy access.
  • • In addition to the Clean Team’s ongoing efforts throughout operational hours, each member is asked to clean the equipment they use before and after use.
  • • All equipment is strategically placed to provide ample physical distancing.
  • • Additional studio space has been made available to increase exercise space.
  • • We ask that you bring your own water as water refill stations may be unavailable in accordance with guidelines.
Group Fitness Classes
  • • All protocols to match the state and local guidelines for fitness classes and groups.
  • • Group fitness class registration is required via the member self-service portal.
  • • Please reference the cancellation policies in the member self-service portal when reserving class.
  • • All group fitness classes are currently being held outdoors on the turf or patio and are mostly shaded by either a roof, umbrellas, or natural shade.
  • • Floor markings and/or equipment have been placed to provide ample physical distancing throughout each class.
  • • Class length and start times have been adjusted to allow 30 minutes between classes for rigorous cleaning of floors, equipment, and all surfaces.
  • • We ask that you bring your own yoga mat.
  • • Live and on-demand classes will continue after opening to help members stay engaged when they are unable to come to the club. Click here for information on how to find out live and on-demand classes. 
Kids World
  • • Kids World reopening and protocols are pending CDC, state, and local government guidelines.
  • • To help our children practice physical distancing we will open other areas of the property and follow protocols that adhere to government guidelines.
  • • Registration for Kids World will be required via the member self-service portal.
  • • Time allocations and cancellation policies will be included in the member self-service portal.
  • • Sanitation and hand washing stations are available throughout all designated Kids World spaces.
  • • Children and staff are asked to sanitize hands before entering and upon exiting the spaces.
  • • Teacher to child class ratios will follow the CDC and local government guidelines.
  • • Engagement activities designed specifically to support social distancing will be implemented while allowing the children to have fun and learn new activities and skills.
  • • Thorough cleaning and disinfecting of all areas, touchpoints, and equipment throughout the entire facility. 
  • • Ongoing rigorous cleaning protocols followed throughout the spaces during all operational hours with 30 minutes of cleaning time between sessions to allow ample disinfecting between groups.
  • • In addition to rigorous ongoing daily cleaning, we will conduct a deep cleaning of the facility each night.

R Spa & Retail
  • • R Spa boutique and spa services are now open.
  • • Certain amenities may be unavailable during initial stages of reopening in adherence to governmental guidelines.
  • • Hand sanitizer is available and encouraged upon entry.
  • • Special shopping protocols will be in place to maintain sanitation.
  • • Boutique inventory has been reduced to allow for physical distancing.
Aquatics
  • • Lap swim is now open. Reservations are 45-minutes each and required via the member self-service portal.
  • • Time allocations and cancellation policies will be included in the member self-service portal.
  • • Lap swim is limited to one person per lane to provide physical distancing.
  • • Recreational swim including the exercise pool, kids wading pool, and pool deck with lounge chairs is open. Reservations via the member self-service portal are only required on weekends (subject to change if overcrowding occurs).
  • • Reservations include both pool time and lounge chairs with a two-hour time limit. The capacity of your reservation is determined by chairs on the pool deck which are spaced out 6 feet apart in groupings of 1, 2, and 4.
  • • Reservations are not required for the kids wading pool but cannot exceed six people at a time. Parents must be with their children at all times and follow physical distancing guidelines. 
  • • Chairs have been strategically placed on the pool deck to follow physical distancing guidelines.
  • • All swimmers are asked to adhere to physical distancing throughout the pool, including children.
  • • Family open swim will be available within designated areas of the aquatics space with check-in through the pool concierge.
  • • Disinfectant wipes have been placed on the pool deck.
  • • Frequent disinfecting of high touch areas including chairs, handrails, and kickboards.

Court Sports
  • • Court Sport reopenings are pending CDC, state, and local government guidelines.
  • • Additional exercise space is available in court sport areas and will vary throughout the various phases of reopening.
  • • Frequent disinfecting of high touch areas.

Locker Rooms
  • • Dedicated Clean Team members will be placed in each locker room to sanitize and disinfect spaces as soon as they have been used.
  • • Upper lockers will be available and open to allow for ample space.
  • • Signage will be strategically located to indicate any closure of specific areas and occupancy requirements set by the CDC guidelines, including showers, vanity space, changing areas, sauna, steam room, and spa.
  • • Amenities will continue to be provided within the shower space, including body wash, shampoo, and conditioner.
  • • Additional amenities may vary according to CDC guidelines, including lotion, deodorant, Q-Tips, cotton balls, combs, razors, and hair dryers.
     
Active Lobby & Restaurant
  • • Private access to the lobby and Citrus Fresh Grill & Market are available with club membership, corporate partnership, or hotel reservations only.
  • • Use of club Wi-Fi and workspaces to adhere to government and local guidelines on working from home and telework space.
  • • Marking and signage has been placed throughout the space to remind members to practice physical distancing.
  • • Citrus To-Go is available from Citrus Fresh Market & Grill.
