Sports camps, specialty camps, and themed camps provide fun ways for kids to strengthen their bodies and minds through physical activities, critical thinking exercises, and creative projects.

Summer ClubSport Camps


Keep your child busy and active as they have fun learning by doing.

ClubSport Camps introduce kids to sports like basketball, dodgeball, racquetball, soccer, as well as to basic gym game skills. Other highlights include weekly cooking tips, guest instruction in crafts and sciences, conquering obstacle courses, and pool time to build physical skills through swimming. Campers will also get to feel the thrill of the new water slides every Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon.*

A healthy snack is provided. You may opt for a pre-set bagged lunch from Citrus Café or provide your own.

June 5: E-Bay Week

Kids complete challenges to win contests and earn "camp cash" for use at the end-of-week auction.

June 12: Challenge Yourself

Campers will keep track of their personal best for different activities, then try to beat their own scores.

June 19: Kids in the Kitchen

Campers will follow recipes and then work together to create their own dishes with a given set of ingredients. They will prepare their own snacks each day.

June 26: Sports Week

Campers will sample a little bit of every sport we can fit into the week. Come prepared to play hard!

July 3: Holi-daze

Each day, we will celebrate a different holiday, including a Halloween costume day! (No camp July 4.)

July 10: Game Show Mania

Kids will have tons of fun playing adapted versions of favorite game shows that will test their trivia knowledge and physical skills while promoting teamwork and sportsmanship.

July 17: I Dare You!

Campers will be dared to try new foods and conquer fun challenges they may have never faced before.

July 24: Amazing Race

Campers will split up into teams and compete in games and challenges from around the world to win the grand prize.

July 31: Creative Craziness

Let's explore your creative side using all different art forms to create an art show. Campers will display their masterpieces in our own art exhibit.

August 7: Best of the Best

A combination of all the summer's favorite camp activities are back for one last week!

Every day is filled with fun, adventure, and imagination as kids participate in sports and theme-specific activities pertaining to their camp.

LEGO Camp (Ages 5-9)

Calling future architects, builders, engineers, and designers! Campers will have fun creating and building with LEGO blocks. Children will improve motor skills and expand their imaginations in games where they must race against the clock while using teamwork and communication skills to build a small city. They will also create a picture book filled with a week of memories from camp.

Session 1: June 12-16, 9:00am-12:00pm*
Session 2: July 17-21, 9:00am-12:00pm*

Strength & Conditioning Camp
(Ages 9-14)

Kids will love this fitness camp. Led by a certified personal trainer, this fun and active program includes strength and cardio vascular training with flexibility work, agility training, and team building activities. The aim is to improve core strength, speed, coordination, agility, flexibility, and balance in an encouraging atmosphere.

Session 1: June 19-23, 1:30-4:00pm*
Session 2: July 17-21, 1:30-4:00pm*

Craft Camp (Ages 5-12)

Create your very own one-of-a-kind masterpiece! Kids will get to work with different materials and textures like canvas, paint, wood, glue, fabric, paper, and more as they unleash their creative side.

Badminton Camp (Ages 7-12)

Campers will be introduced to badminton rules and skills, with play on indoor courts. Serving, backhand, forehand, strategy, and both singles and doubles practice play will be taught. This camp prepares youth for continuing badminton programs offered year-round. A snack is provided.

Science Mania Camp (Ages 6-10)

Explore the wacky world of science with special experiments and projects each day. Experiment with fun and fascinating materials like food, water, rocks, dirt, leaves, and more. This week-long camp of hands-on science experiments is designed to be educational and entertaining!

Session 1: June 26-30, 9:00am-12:00pm*

Racquetball Camp (Ages 8-12)

Campers will be introduced to racquetball rules and skills, with play on indoor and outdoor courts. Serving, backhand, forehand, strategy, and both singles and doubles practice play will be taught. This camp prepares youth for continuing racquetball programs offered year-round. A snack is provided.

Prince & Princess Camp (Ages 5-8)

Calling all royalty! Dance the week away and enjoy favorite prince and princess themes. Each day includes a warm-up, dance instruction, dance games, snack, story time, and crafts. Camp ends with a performance in the last half-hour of the final day so parents and friends can watch their child perform beautiful and magical choreography. Camp is open to all.

Cooking Camp (Ages 6-12)

If your child loves being busy in the kitchen, this is the camp for them! Campers will learn recipes from scratch to create delicious dishes for the whole family. A new recipe will be introduced each day and campers will learn how to plan, shop, measure, cut, mix, clean, and enjoy their creations. Bon appetite!

Ready For Kindergarten
(Ages 41/2-6)

This classroom-based, two-week kindergarten readiness program is designed to help your child adjust to the structure and style of kindergarten. Certified and experienced preschool staff will help kids brush up on the skills needed to start school and get excited about their new adventure.

Class Plan:
• 8:30-10:00am — Phonics, writing, and reading
• 10:00-10:30am — Snack and structured play time
• 10:30-11:30am — Large and fine motor skills and mathematics

Summer Junior Tennis Camps


It's fun to play tennis skillfully!

Our junior tennis camps are the best way for children to learn to the sport anywhere in the Tri-Valley area. Led by our team of award-winning, USPTA-certified instructors, kids will develop their tennis and social skills in a fun and friendly – yet competitive – environment.

Junior Tennis Camp:
Digital Learning Advantage (Ages 6-14)

An incredible tennis experience where youth at every level will progress rapidly and learn key tennis fundamentals, this fun outdoor camp instills technical proficiency, tactical understanding, and a lifetime love for the sport. Modern instruction methods encourage enjoyment, quick skill adoption, and tennis mastery.

Camp details:

  • • Curriculum designed by award-winning tennis director Marc Moran.
  • • Accomplished USPTA-certified staff bring more than 90 years of combined junior tennis coaching experience.
  • • Motivational instruction features comprehensive stroke, footwork, and mental development with emphasis on sportsmanship and teamwork.
  • • Includes dynamic warm-ups, locomotion and current footwork patterns, tennis skill learning, drilling, and practice of in-game situations.
  • • Extensive use of kinesthetic aides, targets, and game-based visual methods to promote development.
  • • USTA 10-and-under balls, smaller courts, and lower nets are used for appropriate levels to increase confidence and speed of learning.
  • • Advanced digital video training using the Olympic Dartfish system for stroke review and analysis with stop-motion, hi-def technology. Each player receives a personalized digital stroke analysis.
  • • Weekly mental toughness activity to build & strengthen the player's game mind.
  • • Healthy daily snack and graduation certificate is included.

Platinum Tennis Academy:
High-Level Tennis Training (Ages 14-18)

Now with more hours of advanced focused training, these weekly, individually-themed training clinics cover all strokes for rock-solid stroke production, advanced footwork, game strategy, play tactics, and more. Approval from the tennis director is required, as this program is geared for serious players who aspire to or are currently playing at the high school junior varsity or varsity level, or for players with sectional or national ranking.

Camp details:

  • • Instruction from Tennis Director and USPTA Elite Pro Marc Moran and his staff, who combine for more than 90 years of coaching experience.
  • • Monday/Wednesday: Comprehensive learning and digital video recording. Thursday: Drills. Friday: Match play with review and analysis of digital video.
  • • Learn to replicate successful strokes and strategy for singles and doubles.
  • • Discover 12 golden footwork moves & technical keys for killer stroke production.
  • • Unlock the secrets to successful singles & doubles strategy.
  • • Master the RAD strategy, Triangle of Success, & Formula for Mental Toughness.
  • • Kinesthetic and visual aids are used extensively, as seeing and feeling are more effective than hearing alone.
  • • Weekly progressive fitness regimen with a certified personal trainer covers 32 key exercises that are geared specifically for tennis athletes.
  • • Dartfish digital video provides immediate visual feedback to enhance technique with advanced bio-mechanical review and analysis.
  • • Mental toughness tip sheets plus weekly match play to simulate the pressure and reaction during competitive situations.

General Information

Ages For Camps
ClubSport Camp: 5-12 years old. Tennis Camp: 6-14 years old (AM) and 14-18 years old (PM). Other camps are as noted.

Camp fees are due at the time of registration. Please include payment with your registration form at the Kids World Front Desk when you sign up. The child’s parent or guardian must complete a waiver form on or before the first day of camp. Late forms will incur a $5 late fee.

Multi-camp discounts are offered per child. Buy all 10 weeks of camp and get 15% off (no refunds). The same child gets 10% off for combined AM and PM camp sessions in a single week (tennis excluded). Save 5% on tennis camps with a multi-week purchase and multi-sibling registration.

Registration & Waiver
Camp fees, registration forms, and waivers are due at the time of registration. Signed and completed registration/waiver form must be submitted with pay at the Activities or Tennis Desk. Download Registration & Waiver here.

For ClubSport and Special Interest camps, a two-week cancellation is required in order to receive a full refund less a $30 processing fee. For Tennis Camps, there's a 50% refund with a two-week cancellation.

Camp Hours
Camps are offered between 8:00am-6:00pm. Drop-off for certain 9:00am camps may begin at 8:00am as noted. Tennis camps is from 9:00am-12:00pm. Other camps are as noted.

Late Pick-Up Fee
Campers still checked into camp after the designated end time will be charged a late pick-up fee of $1/minute per child.

What to Wear
Wear comfortable clothing for physical activities and please wear soft-soled shoes. Also, send your child with sunscreen already applied every day. Tennis camp requires a tennis racquet, court shoes, hat, and sunscreen.

What to Bring
For ClubSport and some Special Interest camps, bring a bathing suit, swim vest if required, hat, sunscreen, lunch, add an extra snack if needed.

Do I need to Pack a Lunch?
Yes. You may also purchase one from our pre-set camp lunch menu for $8/lunch. Preset lunches may be arranged daily at camp check-in and paid with cash, check, or member house charge. Lunch time will start at 12:30pm. Also, one daily snack is provided. Extra snacks are suggested for any child enrolled in multiple camps.

Should My Child Bring a Swimsuit?
Yes, for afternoon ClubSport Camp, there will be swimming or water activities most days, so a swimsuit is needed. A flotational swim vest is required for any child who does not meet the minimum requirements of the water safety test (see below). No swimming for morning camp.

Water Safety Test
A basic water safety test will be provided for each camper by our swimming staff at the start of each camp week. Children unable to pass will be required to wear a swim vest while in the pool during camp swim time.

Staff-to-Child Ratio
For ClubSport and Special Interest camps, it is 1:10 or better, with a two-staff minimum. For Tennis Camps, it is 1:6.
