Distance Learning Support Camp is an on-site camp for children who need care options due to the changes in their school calendar. Our camps will provide a safe learning environment for campers to work independently on any school requirements and will also supplement their day with a variety of enrichment activities such as science, fitness, and arts and crafts.
We have implemented a variety of safety measures to keep our campers safe including enhanced cleaning protocols, temperature checks, and social distancing.
Campers will need:
- • Technology Device (tablet, laptop)
- • Charger/Cords
- • Headphones
- • Pencil, pens, and other materials required to complete assignments
- • Pre-printed assignments as well as snacks and lunch.
Campers will be required to wear masks in compliance with any state or local guidelines. All campers will be able to remove masks while participating in activities outside and able to social distance.
During distance learning, children will be working independently. A team member will be available to answer questions and provide assistance.
In addition to being CPR and First Aid certified our camp counselors also have been Livescan and Trustline registered. Our counselors are not teachers, but they are caring and supportive individuals who will help campers with their learning to the best of their abilities.
Feedback on your child’s academic progress will need to be provided through your teacher. However, as needed our counselors will provide families with updates on a camper’s participation, behavior, and engagement.
Our distance learning space will be designed to provide each camper with enough space to be spaced appropriately from one another. Campers will also be asked to bring head phones to prevent noise distractions.
