Great tennis has been a mainstay at ClubSport Pleasanton since 1981. Staffed with Certified Professionals, our world-class tennis center is second to none offering a range of lessons, leagues, clinics, drill sessions and drop-in times, along with Junior Programs and camps. We have ten indoor and four outdoor lighted tennis courts, so you can keep up with your game year-round. Join a competitive or social league, take a private or group lesson, or just sign up for a court during drop-in times and play.

Marc Moran: Tennis Director, Marc is a 19 year certified P-1 United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) Pro and was the Vice President of the Northern California USPTA from 2005-2008. Marc has won the 1999 USPTA NorCal Associate Pro of the Year, 2004 NorCal Facility Director of the Year and 2004 Manager of the Year.
Josh Uran: Josh is a USPTA P-1 Certified Tennis Pro and has been teaching tennis for over 12 years. He holds the title of 2008 Northern California USPTA Associate Pro of the Year. Josh is an experienced racquet technician, has extensive experience directing junior tennis programs and has achieved a top 15 ranking in the California Junior College system.
Kevin McQuaid: Kevin is a USPTA P-3 Certified Tennis Pro, and has been playing Tennis since the age of two. He has won numerous sectional and national age group rankings and received West Coast Conference Honors for outstanding play while competing collegiately for the NCAA Division 1 Santa Clara University. Kevin has also been the Assistant Men’s Tennis Coach for the Division 1 SCU Broncos.
Steve Berry: Steve is a USPTA P-3 Certified Tennis Pro. He has been playing tennis for over 25 years, and teaching for over three years. Steve is the current ClubSport Pleasanton 5.0 USTA Men’s Singles Champion and he enjoys teaching and coaching all ages and skill levels.
Ball Machine Rental Policies

Indoor courts #2 and #4 are designated as ball machine practice courts.

There is an hourly fee to use the ball machine; you may also purchase a monthly pass if you are a frequent user.

Regular court reservation policies apply, however the ball machine may only be used during hours that the Tennis Desk is open.

Check in at the Tennis Desk to get your court assignment and ball cart.

If you are unfamiliar with the operation of the ball machine, ask a Tennis Desk Attendant for assistance.
- At the completion of your court time, please check behind the court curtains for stray balls and ensure all balls are returned to the cart - this is a courtesy to the players who follow you.
Tennis Court Policies

All players must be a ClubSport Pleasanton or ClubSport GoldPlus Tennis Member.

All players must check-in at the tennis desk and sign-in for their court on the court registration sheet. Sign-in is also required when the tennis desk is closed/unstaffed.

Indoor and outdoor court time is complimentary for all Tennis members.

Fitness members may pay a guest fee and use tennis courts on a walk on basis only.

Proper tennis clothing and tennis-specific footwear must be worn. No street clothes, crop tops, aerobic attire, men's tank tops or jeans allowed. Please, no cross trainers, running shoes or other inappropriate footwear.

No food, drinks (other than water in non-breakable container) or gum, are allowed on the courts.

Proper tennis etiquette including language and sportsmanship is expected at all times. Failure to follow these tenets may result in membership suspension or termination.

Only tennis activities are allowed on tennis courts. No other sports are permitted.

As a courtesy, players are expected to be ready to exit the court at the exact end of their court time, regardless of their match play status or score.

On-coming players should wait until the completion of a point to enter a court, and not before the exact beginning of their court time.

Only ClubSport certified tennis professionals may teach lessons or coach a player on CSP courts. Teaching and coaching includes rallying, drilling, feeding, going onto the other player's side of the court, demonstrating, etc. No solicitation of members for lessons is permitted.

Ball hopper usage is permitted with immediate family members only.

ClubSport reserves the right to schedule club-sponsored programs (leagues, drop-ins, tournaments, team matches, socials, parties, clinics, group lessons, camps, etc.) or private group rentals on all courts, as club management deems appropriate. Open play courts may not always be available.
- ClubSport staff has the final decision regarding dispute resolution.
Failure to follow any of these policies may result in immediate stoppage of play or result in membership suspension or termination. Stop by the Tennis Desk or call 925.463.2822 x507 to schedule court time, lessons or join a league.
