Junior Swim Programming
Stroke & Conditioning Clinics
A four to five week training program for youths who wish to develop and improve their competitive swimming skills. Three levels are offered by age group: 5-8 years, 9-10 years and 11-17 years. Monthly sessions are offered January - March & September - December.
Tidal Waves Junior Swim Team
Evaluations for ClubSport’s award winning junior swim team, Tidal Waves, are in April. The season runs May through early August. Evaluations are based upon five criteria:
- Ability to swim the length of the pool without stopping.
- Knowledge of all four of the competitive strokes.
- Technique on all four of the competitive strokes.
- Racing form for starts and turns.
- Speed and time.
Summer Junior Swim Clinics
These clinics are for aspiring non-team swimmers ages 5-17. Under the direction of our swim team coaches, swimmers learn competitive swim strokes and improve their swimming technique. Each two week session concludes with a fun ‘mini swim meet’ where swimmers will compete against their program peers. Space for each summer session is limited. Sign-ups begin four weeks prior.
