FitKids Classes
Kids, ages 3-12, will enjoy a get fit activity led by Kids World teachers.
Little Kicks Soccer
An introductory gym soccer class that teachers 2 ½ - 5 year olds the fundamentals of the game – kicking, dribbling and passing. This class is offered in six-week sessions. Check the Activities Desk for dates, details and registration forms.
Rock Climbing
Kids, ages 4 and up, can experience the thrill of climbing the rock wall weekdays between 4:30 - 6:30pm. A trained belayer will take kids on a first-come, first-served basis. A harness and climbing shoes will be provided. Parental supervision is required during climbing time.
Studio Dance
Our popular Studio Dance program offers kids, ages 2-13, a fun way to learn the joy and thrill of different dance forms - Ballet, Cheer, Creative Movement, Funk, Hip-hop, Jazz, Tap and more. Other activities include a sampling of our Jelly Gym Time and Little Kids Yoga programs. Two sessions are offered each year starting in September and January.
Youth Racquetball
Join our Racquetball program for juniors ages 7 and up and you may be next on our list of ClubSport trained Junior National Racquetball Champions. Regular youth clinics are offered twice a month. A supervised drop-in play time is offered for high school aged players on several Sunday evenings. Our club also hosts two junior racquetball tournaments each year. Group Fitness Classes for Juniors
These complimentary group fitness classes are offered exclusively for 9-13 year olds. Taught by certified instructors, the series offers a great balance of cardio, strength, focus and fun in an encouraging and motivating atmosphere. Emphasis is on group interaction with the instructor. Classes such as Jr. Strength & Cardio, Jr. Yoga and Jr. Kickboxing are offered three days a week from 4:45-5:30 pm. Junior Tennis College
Junior Tennis College (JTC) is a multi-level program designed for 5-18 year olds who aspire to learn, train and practice for advanced and competitive play. Five participation levels range from elementary school beginner to high school advanced player. Weekly clinics are coached by our well trained staff as they teach guidelines and written curriculum for physical conditioning, stroke technique, innovative drills, plus creative and fun game play.
Students receive monthly skill-based GRIPS testing online and on the court to build technical skills and tennis knowledge. In addition, our exclusive Digital Tennis Advantage video software system helps junior players see their progress and develop further skills. Alternating on both indoor and outdoor courts, classes run September through May. Contact the Tennis Desk for more information.
Junior Tennis Exchange Matches
Exchange matches are scheduled monthly with junior players from other clubs. Matches are free for JTC & Tennis Members. Visiting junior players from other tennis clubs can participate in match play with ClubSport youth and JTC players once a month. Inquire at the Tennis Desk for class sign-ups or private lessons. Questions about class selection may be directed to the Tennis Director.
TeenFit Certification
For teens ages 12-17, this complimentary one-hour fitness orientation provides basic instruction on proper use of fitness equipment and common gym etiquette. This ensures a positive experience and the freedom to use the fitness center during non-primetime hours without parental supervision. Encourage your teen to make fitness a part of their routine by scheduling a TeenFit Certification at the Fitness Desk.
