The EDGE is ClubSport’s high performance training center offering a host of high energy programs to help you meet or exceed your fitness and athletic performance goals. Our unique programs are focused on fine tuning your fitness regimen and developing techniques to help you get “the edge” over the competition.
The EDGE has a full range of dynamic programs that will enable you to “GET FIT FAST” and develop speed, agility, power, coordination and flexibility to push you beyond your current athletic abilities. Our proven training methods are taught by nationally certified performance coaches to help athletes of all ages and skill levels to accomplish their fitness or sports–related goals.

New at the Edge – Altitude Training & CompuTrainer
The Summit – Altitude Studio Training
The Summit Training Studio can simulate altitudes of up to 21,000ft/6,400m through the production of normobaric hypoxic (oxygen reduced) air. As a result, athletes, fitness enthusiasts and health–conscious individuals can take advantage of the benefits associated with altitude training while at ClubSport.
Maximize Speed – Improve Endurance, Strength and Enhanced Energy – Increase VO2
Altitude training, also known as hypoxic training, involves exercising in, living in or otherwise breathing oxygen reduced air for the purpose of improved athletic performance, pre–acclimatization to altitude.
How it Works
When the human body is exposed to hypoxia (oxygen reduced environments), it struggles to produce required amounts of energy with less available oxygen. This struggle triggers the onset of a range of physiological adaptations geared towards enhancing the efficiency of the body's respiratory, cardiovascular and oxygen utilization systems.

CompuTrainer provides the most interesting indoor bike experience ever created. It increases your cycling power by 20 to 30% and your speed by 2 to 4 MPH. Whatever your starting point, you'll improve significantly. CompuTrainer is more than a premier bike trainer. It’s also a precision bicycle ergometer measuring wattage, heart rate, and cadence with a peak power rating in excess of 1500 Watts to simulate road grades up to 15%.
Exclusive performance features include electronic pedal stroke analysis and adjustable aerodynamic drag factor are unique to CompuTrainer. Cycling and triathlon coaches worldwide use CompuTrainer as their primary testing instrument.

Hit Squad

This will be one of the toughest physical and mental tests in a week's worth of training. This class does not aim to be fun; it is solely designed to yield fast results. Proper progressions, regressions and techniques will be taught so that anyone can take the class. The only prerequisite: Be ready to work your butt off.

Enhance core strength and stability while improving coordination, flexibility and mental focus with Marlin Bernabe. This unique and motivational class fuses non–conventional strength training with emphasis on traditional training methodology on The Edge, accommodating all fitness levels and abilities. Everyone's first visit is FREE!

Join Coach Stephanie Falcone to create the perfect balance of strength and flexibility through your core. This class combines TRX, Pilates, yoga, and traditional strength training methods to improve your abs, back, and glutes. Improves overall spinal well–being.

Come as you are – leave faster, stronger, leaner and more fit! Stop wasting time with your workouts and start seeing real results. This class delivers variety with full body drills to provide optimum muscle confusion. Class is delivered with two certified coaches to assure specificity in form, prevent injury and provide personalization. BootCamp is a great compliment to your current program and a fun way to deliver the drills you won’t typically do on your own. No frills. . . Just drills.

Integrative Core Evolution (I.C.E.)

Wednesdays, 5:30PM–6:30PM
Focus on improving functional flexibility, core strength, stability and mobility of joints while pushing your cardiovascular endurance to unimaginable levels. It’s a fat–burning, muscle–toning workout suitable for all fitness levels.

EDGE Multi–Sport Training

This Multi–Sport Team fills the needs of ClubSport Oregon athletes. Runners, cyclists, swimmers and triathletes of all levels are encouraged to join. Get coached workouts from Ironman Multi–Sport coaches James Williams and Willee Broberg. From your first 5K to marathon training, running and coaching programs are available. Is this the year you do your first triathlon? Do you have Ironman in your sights? We have a place for you. The goal for this team is to bring together the CSO racing community with quality coaching. Discounts on products and services included as a Multi–Sport Team benefit. Meet at Activities Desk for your two coached workouts per week.

Join Coach Shoshana and Coach Nick Eldridge to increase your own strength, power and endurance to take you to the next level of fitness. Learn proper form and technique while working hard and building confidence in a challenging and fun boot camp style class. We will be using strength training techniques, cardio exercises and agility drills to improve your athletic ability.

Underwater Swim Analysis
(16 years old and up)

Looking to improve your swimming? Using an underwater camera to record your swim stroke Coach James can identify opportunities to efficiently improve your swim times with little effort. View your swimming from all angles to make changes immediately and watch your swim times come down. Video will be posted for you to share and review any time.
