KIDS SPORTS & FITNESS

We encourage kids to move and have fun on the courts, in the gym, and in the pool. Fitness classes, programs, and recreational and competitive sports leagues are available for kids of all ages and skill levels to help them develop healthy habits and learn important skills like communication, teamwork, and good sportsmanship.

Encourage your kid to get out there and have some fun! Sign them up for recreational classes to get them moving or enroll them in a sports camp or league to spur their competitive spirit.

Sports Programs

Basketball

Golden State Warriors Junior Basketball League (Ages 8-13) — Saturdays, 9:00am-12:00pm: ClubSport, in partnership with the Golden State Warriors, is proud to announce the start of our new Run & Shoot Junior Warriors League. All kids 8-13 years old are invited to participate in this 10-week league filled with fun and spirited competitive play. Players will enhance their overall performance as they improve teamwork and leadership skills while playing the game they love!

• Orientation Day: Saturday, March 4, 10:00am-11:30am
• League Duration: March 11-May 13 (10-week program)
• Returning member: $75
• First-time member: $90
• Non-member child: $120 (parent must be a member)
• Junior Warriors kit: $30 (includes jersey, shorts, and headband)

 

Junior Basketball (Ages 7-11) — Wednesdays, 4:30-5:30pm: The focus lies on dribbling, shooting, passing, and teamwork, all intertwined with a great cardio workout to help kids get in basketball shape. All players should wear closed-toe athletics shoes and comfortable clothing. New sessions begin each month. Register in advance. Private Basketball Lessons: Coach Qais Haider breaks down a player's game and helps take their talents to the next level. Footwork, defense, positioning, ball handling, shooting techniques, and conditioning are all covered. Lessons are geared toward the serious player. Results guaranteed. Tennis

It's fun to play tennis skillfully! Visit our Junior Tennis section for information on lessons, clinics, and programs offered by our USPTA-certified instructors.

 

Taekwondo

Get a kick out of Taekwondo at ClubSport! Fourth-degree black belt and ITF-licensed instructor Samuel Lewis will teach students to be confident and aware of their surroundings as they learn effective self-defense techniques in this traditional, fully-belted program. Students will also learn the same principles of respect, honor, and discipline that allowed Lewis to become a two-time national champion and compete for Team USA in the 2013 World Championships and 2012 World Cup.

Taekwondo Monthly Rates

• 1-5 classes/month: $70*

• 6-10 class/month: $85

• 11+ classes/month: $100

*Minimum rate. Applies for those attending 1-5 classes per month as well as for anyone who is on vacation or ill for at least 10 days.
10% Sibling Discount available.

Kids Fitness

Newton's first law of physics states that an object in motion remains in motion. Much like Newton's law, our kids programs will put your child in motion to help them be strong and healthy.

 

FitKid Classes

Taught by Kids World instructors, FitKid is a series of fun "get fit" activities and classes for children ages 2-6.

 

ZumbAtomic Fitness

Kids will shake, wiggle, and have a blast with their friends in our free ZumbAtomic classes.

TeenFit Certification

Encourage your teen to make fitness a part of their routine. This complimentary one-hour fitness orientation for teens ages 12-17 provides basic instruction on proper use of fitness equipment and gym etiquette. It also allows teens the freedom to use the fitness center during non-prime time hours without parental supervision. You may schedule a TeenFit certification session at the Activities Desk. Appointment times are available Saturdays at 12:00pm.
